OLIPHANT PHOTOGRAPHY | Reflecting....

I was fortunate enough to realize what I wanted to do with my life at an early age. Unfortunately tragedy struck not soon after I photographed the image below in 1992 when I lost the majority of my photographic equipment to a burglary. I still photographed a bit with borrowed gear until the demise of Buffalo Photo Co.; a company I worked for and one that allowed me use of their studio space after hours, it was 1994. I didn't pick up a camera for 13 years.

Not that you're asking, but if I had to give advice to anyone, I would say figure out what you want to do in life and do it. Let nothing deter you from following your dream. If you're fortunate enough to figure that out at a young age and you're passionate about your choice, success is waiting for you...

...my passion still burns...

....and I hope you find your passion too!!!

all the best,
OLIPHANT
